Last summer I was traveling 3 months through Central America and I had the pleasure to visit many nice places. One of this was the Museum of Natural Sciences of La Salle, located in the capital of Costa Rica, San José. A large space within the Ministry of Agriculture that has extensive collections of paleontology, malacology, entomology… And also many mammals, amphibians, birds, reptiles… In this post I show you specifically the Paleontological section in the exhibition open to the public. They have specimens from all over the world but is mainly focused on the characteristic Neogene of the provinces in Costa Rica.
